Success has a broad meaning for me. I look beyond being successful in the workplace, but also look at my contributions as a mother, wife, friend, sister, aunt, etc. Family is important to me, and I respect others who have my same values.
What do you enjoy most about working at MCH?
I love that I have the opportunity to know each person that works at MCH. Being a family-owned business is a plus because it enables us to be more nimble. There’s not a lot of red tape in our company. We are all passionate about what we do, and we respect one another, like family. We treat our customers like family, too.
What are some of the biggest challenges in our industry today?
Our biggest challenges mirror our clients’ biggest challenges. From a technology perspective, email delivery and deployment is always changing and evolving. The challenge for MCH is to continue to stay ahead of the curve with solutions in that area. Our clients rely heavily on us to be best in class and to proactively communicate trends and solutions. Another challenge our education customers face is that the education industry has seen some shifts. Our team is diligently involved in asking questions and gaining insights that our clients value. We stay abreast of funding, challenges and opportunities that educators face and opportunities in the industry. Staying on top of trends that are constantly evolving can be a challenge.
What is one piece of advice you can share about running a company?
Teamwork is a must. Running a company requires collaboration, input and effort by all employees. Everyone needs to understand and value our mission and vision. Our highest performers understand our mission, vision, values and put the customers first. As President, I strive to encourage a culture that embraces this.
