Sweet Springs, Missouri – December 6, 2011 – MCH Strategic Data, America’s leading compiler of business-to-institution (B2i) databases and mailing lists, today announced it has been awarded a five-year Federal Supply Service contract by the General Services Administration (GSA). Under the contract (GS-07F-0703X), MCH Strategic Data can supply data for emergency response planning purposes to meet U.S. government agencies’ notification needs.
“MCH Strategic Data is proud to play a key role in bringing quality data and resources to the federal sector,” Peter Long, CEO of MCH Strategic Data, said. “As an experienced provider of critical infrastructure points of interest and emergency management systems data to national geospatial and census data clients, MCH is the only proven leader and resource in this sector.”
A U.S. Government buyer will now have access to special pricing from MCH’s comprehensive institutional database which includes education, healthcare, government, and religion data. Since the GSA pre-negotiates contracts on all awarded schedules, a governmental buyer can conduct business more efficiently and expeditiously by avoiding the time consuming competitive bid processes and simply buy from the schedule.
The data supplied by MCH will be useful to federal buyers who are in need of data for emergency planning, community outreach, research programs, and many other service-oriented uses. GSA Schedules provide access to more than 11 million commercial supplies (products) and services at volume discount pricing that can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors or through the GSA Advantage online shopping and ordering system. GSA Advantage, the government’s e-commerce site for GSA Schedules, lists the products of every qualified company, so buyers can simply purchase via a secure credit card payment.
Numerous U.S. federal agencies establish government-wide contracts to simplify the procurement process by allowing them to acquire a vast array of products and services directly from commercial suppliers. The largest government-wide contracts are established by the U.S. General Services Administration under its GSA Schedules Program. State and local governments also use the GSA schedules for purchasing goods and services.
“By being awarded the GSA contract, MCH Strategic Data achieves the position as one of the most valuable resources and providers of data to the Government,” Mr. Long stated. “MCH had to go through a very rigorous process to obtain this GSA approval. It was a 9-month journey where the MCH team thoroughly demonstrated how our data is compiled, processed, and updated regularly through our quality control processes and provided pricing for the data that beat out other competitors in the market in an open bid based process.”
