Community Pillars with Buying Power

As staples within their communities, libraries are frequent purchasers of books, technology, office supplies, and more. Libraries have significant buying power as government funding via the Institute of Museum and Library Services is available to each state through the Library Services and Technology Act. The Innovative Approaches to Literacy grant program from the U.S. Department of Education also supports school libraries working to foster reading skills at the critical early years of a child’s development. These resources provide vital assistance, giving libraries across the country the financial and purchasing power to serve their communities.

MCH's database includes both public and state libraries. Since they often have complex organizational structures, finding the right contact for decision making can be difficult. While the head librarian or director may have great influence over decision making at some libraries, a collection development librarian may be the key decision maker of purchases at others. Verified and Validated

MCH’s library data is compiled by our in-house, U.S. based research team. Our library data specialists use telephone surveys to update and validate demographic, specialty information and job functions. The team also compiles client feedback and makes monthly updates based on USPS-approved CASS, LACS and National Change to Address systems.

MCH Email Quality

MCH email addresses are CAN-SPAM compliant and verified through multiple processes as well as proprietary methodologies. These validation processes remove invalid emails and give our clients higher quality emails for in-house use or MCH deployments. Due to the volatility of email addresses, MCH recommends updating email contacts on a regular basis.
