Microsoft launches Power Map for Excel using MCH data

Kirk Chritton, MCH Director of Product Information, was recently featured as a guest blogger on Microsoft’s Power BI site. His post, Getting Visualized: Transforming Data from Opaque to Immersive with Power Map for Excel discusses how modern data visualization tools are the key to bringing the bits and bytes into a view that conveys meaning and insight.

MCH was introduced to Power Map by John Gagnon, Bing Ads Evangelist. He said, “Power Map brings data to life. But you have to start with fantastic data. When I saw MCH’s education data set, it was across so many rich dimensions. I plugged it into Power Map, and was immediately struck with the geographic pattern that schools go back in session. I’m using it to help marketers completely rethink their Back-to-School Campaigns.”

This exciting new capability will enable MCH to help its clients develop targeted marketing strategies and increase sales through the ability to visualize hidden data elements and trends in their proprietary data.
