The education landscape has undergone several changes over the years. This year will be no different. We have a new Secretary of Education and new government leadership. With new leadership also comes new ideas and thoughts on what is best for public education.
What do Principals Think?
MCH recently surveyed K-12 principals across the nation. We asked them what they thought about progress, challenges and key themes. Our goal for the survey was to provide insight and information on topics that schools across the nation face. Almost 1,000 Principals completed the survey.
Some of the key themes in the report are common to previous years. Principals want a safe and secure environment that is conducive to learning. However, this year, we saw a vested interest in College and Career Readiness and Career and Technical Training. The economy has shaped this need, as many college graduates are not finding jobs, while a good number of jobs that require skills training are available and remain unfilled.
If you market to educators, our 2017 Principals’ Assessment Report will provide valuable information on what Principals need, how they like to be talked to and how to engage with this desirable audience.
2017 is a year of change. Let MCH help you connect with education decision-makers in a meaningful way.
